Genus- Improved InContext Editing

The Genus online business system has initiated a massive improvement over it’s “Sitewalk” feature.  In Sitewalk the user can edit the website without going in to the back end WYSIWYG editor; essentially editing the site from the front end.

Utilizing Abobe’s InContext editing, the process is much more intuitive and robust.  There are no more pop up windows for text fields.  You are actually editing the content directly into the website!  Sitewalk will be phased out in 12 weeks after the current beta trial is completed.  Give it a go on your own by logging in to your site and going to Website–> InContext Edting.

If you don’t have a Genus site you can always try a no obligation free trial and see for yourself here.

Yes, Your Terrible Website is Hazardous To Our Health!

I just read a great article at the Neuroscience Marketing Blog about how bad websites increase stress levels.  Take a look at the article it’s a great read:  http://www.neurosciencemarketing.com/blog/articles/web-stress.htm

This really brings home the fact that you want a website that is going to simplify your potential client’s life, not complicate it.  Your business was established to provide a solution.  If you are creating more problems with your client through your bad website the client will be less likely to contact you for your services.
